We have seen some success bringing "defective" LattePandas back to life using this method.
If your board isn't booting try this.
If it works, please post results, including the board version (Standard or Enhanced)

    Performing a hard reset:
    - While holding the power and reset buttons on the board, apply power and wait 20 seconds before releasing
    - Let board sit for 1 minute while power is applied
    - Remove power to board and hold power and reset buttons one more time for 20 seconds while power is removed
    - Apply power and try booting as usual

    Hope this can help someone

This process worked only once for me. I use the 4GB/64GB eMMC model. I've tried holding down the power and reset for a minute, over a minute, exactly 20 seconds, exactly 30 seconds.. it doesn't want to hard reset.
I've also tried re-flashing the bios with B or C revisions.. no fix.

I'm going to send the board back soon for replacement/fix. I thought I'd just post my results on the above method

I plug in the power supply, the LEDs on the board will turn ON (Blue & Red), the Blue LED then dimmed OFF but the Red LED is still ON.

Tried the Hard reset method. It is not working.
The last time tested, the board is still working (yesterday), now when plug in then Red LED always ON.
Or this is a totally different problem.

    Hope the Admin could help.

I wanted to put a new Windows on it. I copied it to a 8GB but it did not have room so I used a 32GB and copy it to it.

Then it started to boot and then the video turn off.

Now I can't get video out of it now!

I tried to reset it holding both buttons for 20 sec. How it says.

I know my HDMI is good because I can plug it in other things and it they get videos on it.

    I got a 3 AMP 5 volts on it.

When I plug the power in the blue LED comes on and turns off. Then the red LED comes on at the bottom of it. It never turns off if I don't have keyboard plug in to the USB. But when I have a USB keyboard then the red LED will go off and then I press the power button and the red LED comes on but I never get any video out of the HDIM now.

What can I do to get video to work?

Step1: Hard reset by holding both RESET and POWER buttons simultaneously for 20 seconds, and then release the buttons.
Step2: Next Let the panda sit for a minute.
Step3: Now, remove power to the LP.
Step4: Next, Hold the RESET and POWER buttons together for 20 seconds (no power applied), and then release.
Step5: Now apply power like you normally would and the LP should boot up.

It makes no sense to hold both RESET and POWER for 20s when there is no power applied.

Anyway, trying to follow the steps:

    1) When? anytime AFTER powering on? when red led is still lit or blinking? should the red led be off after pressing both buttons? should it be still off after 20s?

    2) should red led be off?

    3) before powered off, should you hold both RESET and POWER? as far as I know there is no battery to allow the circuit to make anything.

    4) anytime AFTER powering off?

Tried this, known procedure from another device, but did not bring it back to life.
had to reflash the bios, now working again.

I have the same problem with my lattepanda just can not detect HDMI video I turn it on but it is only the red led glowing but it does not send video signal and I tried the reset method and it did not work. If you could give me some suggestions on how to solve the problem I would appreciate it.
