I used this 3d printed file from thingiverse by sgtsmall.
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3317867
The side and large panel is not needed.
I had the modify the backplate with a dremel tool so that I could fit the battery in. I removed the piece of plastic around the red box.
Battery purchased from

I had to extend the 3 black wires so that I could bend the wires back just a little further, so I combined the 3 black wires together to a thicker wire (thats all I had at the moment). Then soldered it on the board where the 3 wires was soldered at.
I had to use a longer screw in the bottom right mount to support the corner of the backplate. It did not have any support before.
I will add double sided adhesive or velcro to the battery and the backplate.
I know its a little thick. I would like to slim it down sometime in the future once I upgrade to a bigger screen. I know its not perfect but it works for now.

Hi Raxx208, thanks for your sharing, looking forward to your update! ;)
Enjoy Tinkering with LattePanda !

Actually I am using this case, thanks for that, after I found some to print that.
The mesh of mine is a bit wider, so it's getting more ventilated.
The screen fits very good in it, the advantage that it's thicker is, you just put into the place and it stands.
I have bought 30cm extension cables for ethernet, usb-c and hdmi, so I can freely plug and unplug stuff.
Aren't the sloped sides to be around the screen? On your photos, that looks mixed.
