old tablet upgrade with lattepanda

hello latte fans,

i dont have enough knowledge about is it possible or not, but i want to upgrade my old asus transformer tf101 with lattepanda. this device has a 10" touch screen, battery, detachable keyboard with extra battery. but it is too old. i want upgrade this with lattepanda. which components would i keep, which can work with lattepanda? is there any possible way to do this upgrade? thanks for your help.

Do you intend to enclose it inside the tablet? as you will need to ensure the form factor matches.
You will probably need to create a custom connection for the screen as the DSI pinout is unique for the LattePanda.
You might consider a lipo batter upgrade. Depending on voltage you will need to use a buck converter to step down to 5v. Do not exceed 6vin or you will risk damage to the board.

I have an old JXD MP4 player with VGA camera.I wanted to use this camera and the screen as a reverse camera in my car.Can you please help me in explaining the circuit and the procedure

Sounds interesting. Do you know the physical interface and pin mapping of your vga camera? I think buy a VGA to USB converter board could be a good option. But it's just a basic idea. Not sure if it really works...Just post your photo of camera here. Then we can help to check that.
