Does touchscreen work in this version?

I tried.
The problems I faced was that it was setup to china time and china reposotories, but when that was changed it worked.
I then tried to upgrade to the newest kernel. That fucked up alot. Havnt had time to reset it again.

So dont know yet if I wanna extract the touchscreen settings, and then just use official ubuntu image with newest kernel and theis script to add fixes for Intel Atom.

Speedwise your version, and 17.10 was so alike that nothing there could make me wanna make the easy choice of what image to choose

So, two cases I think we can follow up.
1. Optimize the official image. Could you please describe more details about "How it crashed after upgrading kernel from your local repo"? Maybe some photos or simple descriptions.

2. Evaluate if we can generate a script which is compatible with latest Ubuntu system or linux distros, like 17.10.

What do you think?

Just tried the Beta Ubuntu Image. My BIOS is the latest and BIOS setup is set to default. Installing the image works fine. I am using a 19" philips display . Audio and HDMI is OK. WiFi and Bluetooth is not working al all. Do you have any hints to make WiFi /Bluetooth working.

Getting wifi up is usually a matter of updating the driver while connected to either lan or smartphone - see Ubuntu docs for details. https://help.ubuntu.com/stable/ubuntu-h ... check.html

With bluetooth there is a floating problem. When the power is first connected to the LP, the bluetooth starts in the normal mode. If the device is restart without disconnecting the power, the bluetooth does not go up. The problem is resolved by reboot with power off.

It would be great if there were two OS releases: desktop and server.
