Hi all,

Has anyone experienced a slow link speed when using streaming cable?
I use all major OSs, macOS, Ubuntu, and Windows.
The cable is connected to USB 3.0 ports in both ends.

Sometimes I can see 5G speed is established in Windows but the other end is limited to 480Mbps.
Hence, the effective speed is limited to 480Mbps.

I mostly use macOS as a client with NoMachine.
I hope there's a solution for this.

480Mbps is USB2 highspeed.
It might be related to USB3 connectivity failures (multiple reasons).

P.S. note that USB 3 superspeed is on a different datapath (separate full-duplex twisted pairs) than the USB2 datapath (a single, half-duplex twist pair).
