I received my LattePanda Alpha yesterday and I'm very pleased with it.
I noticed however that the screen I used to use with my older LattePanda (7" 1024x600 IPS + touch screen overlay) doesn't seem to work with it. Is this something that can be resolved somehow?

Thanks in advance,
René

Oh. Please notice that the display for LattePanda Alpha is DIFFERENT from the original display for LattePanda 1st gen. The 7 inch display for LattePanda Alpha comes with EDP interface however the original display is a MIPI interface. They are using different interface!

We will launch our display for LattePanda Alpha to all channels when all perks for crowdfunding are shipped! Sorry for the inconvenience!

Any update on the availability of a "display for LattePanda Alpha"? We would love an option for a eDP LCD display ~9" that has capacitive touch.

We are working on getting a display connected to the Alpha and are looking at the Panasonic VVX09F035M10 8.9" LCD that has eDP 30 pin connector; though it does not have an integrated touch panel; this will have to be added separately.

Yes. Our product team is working on the final summary for releasing the new accessories to all channels and managing the mass production at the same time. I think you will see the accessories available from channels next month!

Im waiting on the screens as well. It would be nice to have a central location for updates on accessories for the alpha

I noticed you guys have a 7" hdmi display that have the displays mounted on a card that converts the ribbon to hdmi and usb for plugging into the alpha. Do you sell a similar board for the 7" displays that were bundled with the Latte panda alpha? The titan case makes the latte panda portable, but the 7" display with the ribbons makes it hard to move it around. If there was a kit that converts that 7" display into a mini monitor for the latte panda alpha I would buy it.

I'm wondering this exactly same thing. I wasn't aware the associated display was really made for integrated use only. If I had known that, I would have never gotten the display.

+1 for the suggestion from @MoonDragn. I would also like to have the screen in a separate case with a more rugged connector than the ribbon, the same use case here.
