I have some questions about how the streaming cable works with the LattePanda Alpha.

1. Does it require a special application running on windows, linux and/or mac to work? I understand there are drivers but is there also an app?

2. Does this require usb 3 on the non alpha system to work?

3. Does it require any other connections (wifi, bluetooth, hdmi, ect)?

4. How do you switch between the non alpha system and the alpha system "picture in picture"?

Thanks,
Richard

I too am curious to see this feature in action. If I know it will work reliably I will probably transition all my windows development to LattePanda Alpha (and purchase one)

As i know from, the final solution is like a USB Data Transfer Cable, but with 5.0Gbps RNDIS function and multiple remote desktop protocol, what do you think?

Sounds good! However, I’m going to wait until I can see a demo before purchasing LPA. Thanks for the reply.

Yes. We've finished to deliver the first batch products to our IGG and KS backers. Check out some posts from them when using streaming cable to build their cross-platform development environment.

We will organize our channels like DFRobot.com to launch these accessories in next month. Please keep an eye on our distribution networks. Thanks.
Enjoy Tinkering with LattePanda !

I'm wondering if is possible to use the streaming cable from windows (Windows 10 machine connecting to LattePanda Alpha with Windows 10)

I would like to use it as personal development environment at work (I have a windows 10 PC), my computer at work has a lot of limitations for security reasons and obviously I cannot use my computer for personal stuff.

Thanks and Regards.

Its not clear for me whether the streaming cable is alpha onboard functionality or its a separate product. Does it mean you were developing an accessory streaming cable? Can you provide a link to IGG and KS campaigns for this product or any other link providing a detail on the product (spec, drawings, pictures of cable, anything). Would that cable work with any other machine with USB 3, not just panda?
