I could definitely try it but I'm far too busy these days with programming other things.
Maybe one day I'll decide to do it. :P

Both the original LP and the new LP Alpha's CPUs are falling under the "not supported by Win7" category.
Check the official Intel and Microsoft position on which gen CPU are not longer supported by 7, you'll know.

The above statement certainly cannot stop a talent/skilled hacker jumps thru hoops to get 7 installed and most of the devices enabled/activated.
On the other hand, it still isn't supported and comes to YMMV, orphan, limbo status.
