Industrial corporations in developed countries are trying to compensate for wage growth (about 1% per year) by fully automating production lines, which pushes developers to accelerate the creation of new devices.

However, the rapid development of the young market has resulted in a number of side effects. There is no single technological concept of a universal platform, an independent set of interfaces. Historically, each model was created based on original algorithms and hardware solutions proposed by small development teams or scientific laboratories. In addition, the robotics market is very diverse, employing dozens of medium and small players. Moreover, trends in this area show that over time, the problems of incompatibility of software and hardware between robots and their peripheral elements will only increase.
The losers from this situation are not only large companies, but also the entire consumer sector of the military industry to private amateurs.

Thus, developers need a universal open source tooling platform that must be proven in practice, intuitively accessible to a wide audience of integrators, not necessarily programmers.

I propose to discuss the topic.
