[Alpha] Stereo Audio Input

In my project, I want to use a stereo audio input (binaural), and one audio output. I found out that LP Alpha has support for stereo channel input in the audio settings (using Windows 10).
My question is, is it actually possible to use stereo mic input and single speaker output without the need to use USB audio interface? That would be greatly helpful to reduce the size of the overall project.
