Original LP Enhanced + Windows Bluetooth issue

I have the original LP Enhanced from the kickstarter.(backer 4,449).
I've been using a usb keyboard with it with windows and now I'm trying to connect a bluetooth 3.0 keyboard but cannot. I know the keyboard works with my android devices.
In Windows on the LP I'm going into Settings | Devices | Connected Devices, and then clicking Add a Device, then pressing the physical connect button on the keyboard. The light begins to blink on the keyboard. The windows screen says searching but after a minute or so it says nothing found.
Are there known issues that I don't know know about?
