DIY USB C PD UPS - tested on lattepanda alpha

Hey everyone, Project SBC here The most convenient portable power option for your delta and alpha is a usb c Pd bank. While it’s most convenient, the only problem I’ve found is lack of UPS functionality (I.e. able to charge the battery while still using the device). The only examples of this I’ve fo...

Re: PCIe devices in the Delta's M.2 M-key slot Don't work

I've just tested the M.2 key-M to PCIe adapter card and with either the GPU card or PCIe-SATA controller. None of them got detected and from HWINFO64, the PCIe bus (Bus A #0) does not show anything there. The next step is to try BIOS setting (has to be very careful, can easily brick the Delta board...

Re: PCIe devices in the Delta's M.2 M-key slot Don't work

(Please forgive me for my poor English composition.) I tested three PCIe adapters in Delta. But nothing works. Is the PCIe adapter don't working in Delta's M.2 M-key Slot? I want someone's advice. Re: Improve thermal performance - Change thermal paste

Installed in a case, the LattePanda alpha in a 30 minute gaming session made it above 75C once. The majority of the time the processor was power (not thermal) limited at 7 watts TDP. It averaged 71-73 C. Another stress test kept the temperature around 69-72C with power being the limiting factor at 7...

Re: Anyone else undervolting their alpha for lower temps?

Hello Everyone, I just got my LPA 864 back from an RMA. (You can see my other post.) I am working on trying to reduce the heat output by undervolting the CPU. I am just wondering if any other LPA owners are trying the same. I have been using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility Win10 and GeorgeWhewell'...

Improve thermal performance - Change thermal paste

Hi everyone I am always conscious of how my LPA is thermally. I downloaded and installed Intel xtreme tuning utility and used that monitor to watch how my LPA performs. When playing games with my son, in a case, the LPA would bounce between 74-78C while it throttles. A typical solution to improve th...

Re: SW PIN Turns the LP ON?

I think to connect a push button, on the left side the SW PIN and Right side the GND.Is it right? Hi Cairoli I use a button like this on either the SW ON pins or the 2 pin JST PH connector for SW ON: https://www.amazon.com/KNACRO-Chassis-Switch-computer-restart/dp/B01N4HZRWX/ref=sr_1_2?keywords=pc+...
