Re: Custom Console Development (with Linux)

Update #3 - Power We decided to remove the reset button for now due to concerns with data corruption. For the first prototype of the console, we will just be using a power on/off button. We'll soon be mounting the button to a board and building the key that depresses it. schadencube power button.jp...

Hello All, This is a BATTERY CONNECTOR , so that you can use 7.4V(2s) battery to power your Alpha, we will release detailed info and tutorial later. When we printed the user manual, we still haven't determined whether we can add the interface, so there is a missing information. How is that tutorial...

Do you have an idea if (and when) the wifi could be available,
or is it definitively not possible with the wifi chipset of the lattepanda alpha ?
I think the onboard wifi support is not an easy job. A second M.2 wifi module or USB wifi module will be great and ready to go.

Adding a third M.2 slot for further PCI expansion, or allowing the user to self-upgrade to DDR3/DDR4, would be a step(s) in the right direction, I think. Maybe even adding Thunderbolt support, eh? ;-)
Really!? How can I do that? Using the Intel Optane?

Re: LattePanda Alpha release / delivery date

So my experience was: The way that i found out that my board was on the country, was because customs contacted me, demanding money. By the way, i got slamed with quite a heavy importation VAT tariff. Nearly U$70! Not cool, but, in the end, i got it. How is everything? Did you hand on it already? Ju...

Re: [Project] 7" PDA LTE phone, physical keyboard, with LattePanda

Interesting project. Looks like that Cosmo is Android based system. Though technically, LattePanda works with Android. But official team didn't support that. I just saw some test like Phoenix OS and Remix on LattePanda. Not sure if it works perfectly.

Re: Internet via GSM Module

@6zayn, agree! But the size of USB dongle is annoying...Not that good for packaging everything to a compact design. Exactly what I think that a GSM module connected via the arduino would be a better solution. I recently bought the classic LP for a portable station I'm working on, so right now I'm j...
