Yep, that is how i installed Arch Linux.

But I think the Lattepanda 4G version has a 64bit uefi, so you should be able to just use the normal Arch bootstick.

I successfully installed Arch Linux x64 on my Lattepanda 2G. I used the x64 Linuxium LiveCD to have an 32bit UEFI and then chroot an Arch Live CD. I used that tutorial and a SOIC Clip and it worked.
But maybe your Clip can get a good connection, I had 2 Clips, one worked, one not.

I used a Bus Pirate and flashrom to flash my Lattepanda, it works great. Here is a good tutorial for that: https://www.flashrom.org/Bus_Pirate
The Pin Layout of the GD25Q64 is similar to that one in the Tutorial, so you can use it too to connect the Chip to the Bus Pirate.

I bought a SOIC Clip and a Bus Pirate and flashed the Chip myself.

How to reset the BIOS on Hardware?

Is there a way to reset the BIOS with a Jumper?

I broke mine and now i have no USB Support, can't use a keyboard anymore to get into the BIOS. So how do I reset it? I don't find anything in the Documentation.
