Accessory for LattePanda Alpha

Hi community members, As you can see, this LattePanda Alpha makes me thinking about it. One idea I wanted to suggest you, LattePanda Team. You compare the LattePanda Alpha to a MacBook. Why not going deeper in the concept ? The board has a USB type C connector which, according to the specs, seems to...

Re: Deffective LattePanda

Hi !

Thank you for taking news about my matter. I'm a bit busy this week.
I think I'll order the component this weekend, maybe from lcsc.com.

I'll let you know if this operation is a success or not.

I really appreciate the way you feel involved in helping your community members ;)

Thanks

Re: Deffective LattePanda

HI LattePanda team, I made some more searches to understand what happened. It seems the touchscreen I used draws a big amount of current on the USB port. I used it several times before with no problem, but maybe this made some components accelerated wear ? I opened the CPU cover, and saw one damaged...

Re: Deffective LattePanda

Hi, Thank you for your quick reply. Yes, you're right. The red led doesn't light up anymore. But I don't understand why the CPU would be dead, as there were no short circuit. The only thing connected was this IPS screen, and the PSU. https://www.waveshare.com/product/mini-pc/raspberry-pi/displays/7i...

Re: Operation Big Bad Panda: WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Brillant! Use numbers to indicate the spec of the products! Personally, I like the idea of straight forward model numbers like this. It makes it a lot easier when it comes to buying and describing the unit. What would be the icing on the cake though would be internal ish code names for the various ...

Deffective LattePanda

Hi LattePanda Team, I just want to let you know that my beloved LattePanda 4GB 64GB passed over yesterday evening. I wanted to have a nice cool evening with her. She was nicely booting when I heard a little "click" coming from the PCB. And then, black screen. I tried to revive her, to spend some mor...

eMMC replacement / improvement

Hi guys, Due to more and more space hungry Windows 10 updates, and the same for softwares in general, the 64Gb of my enhanced LattePanda becomes not enough. Of course, some would say that I could use a USB HDD/SSD but then I'll loose in compacity and portability. The other way would be to use a SD/T...

Re: Broadcom 4g/64g wifi broadcom win 10 pro 16.0

Hi, I managed to get WiFi working on Lattepanda 4Gb/64Gb with Windows 10 Anniversary update. In peripheral setup, right click on the device, select uninstall the peripheral. Tick the "remove driver" box. After that, extract the WiFi driver provided by Panda team in a folder. Create a batch file with...
