Re: [DISCUSSION] Alternative Screen Sizes

I'm using my LP as a debian server, so I'd guess, I don't count as "average user". I really love the LP, as the server runs rock-stable with very fine performance. What I'd really like to see is a 4.5 - 5 inch screen, that fits on the same footprint as the LP. (Maybe mounted with some spacers, that ...

Re: First Start

Hi!
Exact same problem I had in the beginning. It's just that your power supply doesn't deliver enough current (and maybe your cable is also not ideal.)

A combination that worked very well for me: this Power Supply, and this USB Cable.

Follow up question, as always: "do you also have a usb cable of sufficient quality?"
(also, see here)

Re: Fan for cooling the Latte Panda

to me, the fan looks fine. should be no problem. just keep in mind, that the fan pulls ~0.2A, maybe even more when starting up. you should make sure to have a sufficient power supply and a good usb cable. edit: i can't say 100% for sure, that the connector will fit. but if you have an exacto knife a...

Re: LattePanda cooling mod

Hi! I received my new heat sinks yesterday, and just tinkered around with them: For reference: 40x32mm heat sink , small raspi-heat sink , 5V fan . The fan didn't arrive yet, but as for now, the setup looks promising. Attached to this post, you'll find photos of my "planned" setup, as I didn't use t...

Re: WINDOWS 7 on Lattepanda ???

sad to hear, that you've "nothing but problems". tell us more, maybe we can work things out.

are you sure, win7 will do you any good? chances are, that you won't find drivers for LPs hardware components.

Re: Using this board to build a Windows tablet?

Hi! for building a tablet-like device, see the Facebook-LP-group . recently, there was a post by Gerald Schalek, who built a you-could-call-it-a-tablet device. he permanently fixed some "feet" to the frame, so it's not-so-tablet-anymore, but still a wonderful example of a practical use case for a 3d...

Re: Lattlepanda doesnt work

somwhere we had a thread on the "just a moment"-problem... ok, found it here . (you know, there's a search function?) see if the advice there can be applied to your situation. concerning the shutdown, you mentioned: is your power supply sufficient? we had one claim in some thread, that LPs consumpti...

Re: Lattepanda doesn't start

first, check your usb cable. (like in this thread).

and, you got nothing else plugged in, just monitor and PSU? then, at least give it a shot without the monitor. just in case.

Re: the LattePanda doen't work

Hi, g_liron,
your symptopms seem to match a case of insufficient power supply.

you need a fairly good power supply and also a decent usb cable.
check out this thread.
