I received my new heat sinks yesterday, and just tinkered around with them:

For reference: 40x32mm heat sink, small raspi-heat sink, 5V fan
Your fan seems to be a 2-pin one. can you tell us where to connect it?

Re: fan not working. Which connector to use?

Indeed it says 12v on the fan's packaging. I suppose I should have purchased a 5v one but did not see any on eBay...

fan not working. Which connector to use?

I bought a 40mm silent case fan for my LP. I plugged it into the 1st 3-pin 5v connector and the fan just about feebly vibrated. On the second connector, no reaction at all from the fan. Which connector should I be using, what is wrong?

Re: LattePanda Case with Heatsink and Fan

This is my LattePanda Case http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1605660 Hi I have it in my basket and was almost buying a printout of it from Thingiverse. Then I looked at your links for the pins and heatsink and they are all in German. Can you point me to a link where I could purchase those parts in t...

The 'shield' (Really a Heat Spreader) will conduct the heat from the processor and spread it out over a larger ...

Re: LattePanda cooling mod

Where are you guys buying these mini heat sink? You could take a look at AliExpress - this is where I get all my "low performance equipment" from. Link to AliExpress, just search for "raspberry pi heat sink" and you'll be in heat sink heaven ;) -ac Edit: I also found a 40x32mm heat sink there. Shou...

Re: LattePanda cooling mod

There are loads on eBay too. Just make sure they're not coming from China, they'll take for ever to get to you!

Numerous & multiple issues

I am pretty disappointed with my LP which I only wanted to use as a media server and media player for my TV using Plex and/or Emby. Please feel free to respond to the one issue that you encounter or for which you have a solution: -Not booting from USB: the usb key is seen in the Bios but the F7 boot...

Thanks. I've tried with all 3usb ports. It must be some sort of configuration problem. Interesting that I am not the only one with this isssue...
