Re: [DISCUSSION] Alternative Screen Sizes

I like the 7" size, but wanted higher resolution. 1024x768 is way to low for most Windows applications, so I would like a 1920x1200 touch screen, it can be 7" or slightly larger but not to much, at most 10". My plan is to use it as a centerpiece for home automation, and would like to have multiple i...

Re: Can I use the Lattepanda Screen in other projects?

I'm not sure actually what kind of screen it is, I tried to connect the cable to the port on the Pi, but nothing happened, and when I had both connected it only showed on the screen that connected on HDMI. So I opened it up again and took a picture of the controller board. https://lh3.googleusercont...

Can I use the Lattepanda Screen in other projects?

I accidently ordered an extra screen when I ordered the Touch Overlay with my Hardware Dev Kit. So I have this extra screen laying around and I was wondering if I could use it with for example a Raspberry Pi 3 board? I got one of these https://playpiper.com/pages/piper-computer-kit for my daughter a...

High Resolution touch screen for Lattepanda?

I got the 7" IPS screen and touch overlay. (By mistake I actually ordered an extra since I missed it was included in my package) Although it is a very nice screen, with awesome viewing angle, it is only 1024x768 resolution... So I was wondering if there are any other touch screens with similar quali...

Massive thermal throttling.

So been running it for a few hours, ambient temperature 27C, It seems stuck on 480MHz. Tried to reboot, but it won't go up. So I shut it down, and after an hour, I turned it back on. Now it runs at 1840MHz, but quickly drops, and after just 10 minutes i'm again stuck on 480Mhz. I'm using the acrylic...

Try a different power supply, I thought it was a heating issue, but after running it off a Power Bank that could deliver higher amps, It stopped doing it. I have ordered a 5.1V 2.5A Raspberry Pi 3 power supply.

Wireless AC?

So I got my Enhanced Lattepanda Yesterday, and been playing with it.
But I noticed that we did not get the Wireless AC as promised when reaching the stretch goal?
It does not see my 5GHz network. only 2.4GHz networks. Looking at the device manager I see that it is a Broadcom 802.11abgn card.
