The USB to SATA converter has a separate 2A power supply so the SSHD should be powered by that. The SSHD is rated at 1A. I'm using a 4A supply for the LP with a thick cable to supply the LP. So power shouldn't be a problem. It would be great to know if anyone else has successfully attached a SATA dr...

I'm trying to connect my LP to a 2TB 2.5" SATA SSHD drive via a USB3 to SATA adapter and am not having much luck. The adapter has its own power supply so its not a lack of power problem. Embarrassingly LP tech support pointed quickly replied to an email and pointed out I was pressing the reset button and not the power button :oops: :oops: Its now loaded fine and looks impressive ...
