Yes, It ix an X86 form factor, and if running windows it will handle most programs with ease. Although I don't think it would run cad very well at all, but with a bit more ram options, it may be possible. Hello there, I have purchased two of the LP both are being used in robots being developed for the automotive industry. I was not aware that the power switch needs to be pressed in order for the LP to power up. I guess I will mod the board a bit and add in a ne555 timer to do the job of turning it on...

I'm not interested in Playing with Arduino "C" IDE. I write a lot of firmware for a lot of different atmel avr's most of the time I use my Jtag Ice MK 2 over the ISP port for programming them. In this case with the LattePanda you have a pdf with the pinouts of the panda, However I'm not using Arduin...
