Re: 7" IPS touch screen and LattePanda Alpha

Re: cpu speed is slow

What is Temp for the CPU?

Do you have active cooling?

While I have no idea how intensive your app is, mostly what I have seen myself and read is that you really need fan+heatsink as the CPU will limit itself so it doesn't overheat. If temp of CPU is low,, then there is some other issue.

Set integrated graphics ram

It looks like default is 128ram for Intel graphics. I can’t see how to change it in BIOS. I want to move up to 512 to see if it helps performance.

Re: Emulation Performance? (GameCube)

Not a problem on your first post, it was still good information and I learned a new tool in the links you sent out on CPUbenchmark which is very handy. As for the cooling. I was planning on getting the heatsink with fan from the store. That looks to go best on the bottom of the board. What about the...

Re: Emulation Performance? (GameCube)

I might not have been clear, I am not looking at the alpha but this one https://www.lattepanda.com/products/3.html the "regular latta panda" with 4 gigs of ram. I would love the Alpha but it is a lot more expensive. The 12v usb C is also worrisome, as I would need a new battery pack. Doesn't seem li...

Emulation Performance? (GameCube)

I am looking to pick one of the 4gig versions, for the primary reason of a portable emulator. I have created some with Raspberry Pi's before but want more power and to be able to play steam games / older windows games. I have been comparing LattePanda and UpBoard/Core. They look basically the same f...
