Re: LattePanda Alpha can not power on

Try the 4-pin DC power in method.
This seems to be more reliable than the USB-C PD type of power supply arrangement.
(There are DIY info in this forum...)

re: Xiaomi 20.000 mAh Mi Powerbank 3 Pro
Per published spec, its USB-C in output mode can do 15V 3A (45W).
So on paper, it should work. But of course, YMMV.

Re: BIOS Bug - New Alpha 864 w/ M3-8100y can't changed UEFI boot drive target from eMMC.

AFAIK, UEFI is smart enough to "detect" all bootable devices and put them into its Boot selection MENU.
If one of the (you think it is bootable) boot devices does not show up there, there is a possibility that boot device is indeed not bootable.
(Sorry I wouldn't know "why" though.)

Re: [SOLVED] BIOS Update

Try to use a different USB flash drive, re-create Windows installation drive.
If you are using the Win ISO image to USB drive tranfer method, use the latest version of Rufus (windows) application.

Re: LattePanda Alpha 864 - Bios - Auto-Power-On?

Currently, it is not a BIOS Menu selection option, but a two-flavor of firmware option.
One flavor is the standard behavior and the other: always Auto-Power-ON option.
Need to change? Reflash the BIOS.

Re: Arduino Use

Thank you for the clarification. Then this product is not for me at the moment. snip snip If you are into the .NET Micro Framework, (mainly for inexpensive but more resourceful MCU), LPA does not fit that category IMHO. Its x86 side to overly powerful but not I/O rich, while its (low end) Arduino s...

Re: SW PIN Turns the LP ON?

Assuming you are talking about the "POWER" pins and "RESET" pins on the x86 side...
these buttons behave exactly like a normal PC's POWER and RESET buttons.

Re: Arduino Use

Hello all, Can someone please clarify : does this mean that Visual Studio (for example) would not be able to program/use the Arduino chip ? More precisely, I was thinking at this board to replace NETMF for embedded boards but I can't find any doc on using VS/C# (for example) to have SPI/I2C/PWM wor...

thnks,
why is write value so low?
"Write 115.1Mb/s "
1. NAND flash semiconductor intrinsic design
2. only has small amount of cache to mask the slowness in (1)

Re: Latte Panda Alpha 864 not showing NVMe SSD in OS

Actually, the CrystalDiskMark's result helps a lot. You can find the sequential read scored a 1800 MB/sec number. This indicates the consuit (PCIe 4x bus) in between the compute device (LattePanda Alpha itself) and the storage subsystem (the NVMe SSD device) is functioning as expected. Then you see ...
