Re: Expansion Header - LattePanda Alpha

Re: I want to be able to change function on some pin. Is there a document with each pin on the expansion header and the mode setting for each pin. Ans: Don't understand what pins you need to change. I doubt any pin can be changed. Re: access to I2C 2-pin without using the Touch display connector Ans...

Re: LP Alpha 3.3V output current

I don't know the technical answer. Only the circuit designers would know. On the other hand, I strongly recommend for high current drain usage, an external, separate DC-DC buck converter would be a better solution. Yes, I know that will be ugly. However, recognizing LP Alpha/Delta is an expensive SB...

For LP Alpha/Delta, please use the proper subforum.

Re: USB Gadget Mode

All USB ports trace up to Intel CPU/APU's XHCI controller.
Intel's XHCI controller does not support USB Gadget mode nor OTG mode.

Also, please see USB assignment:

Re: Can I power LattePanda Alpha 864s with LG 32UD99 monitor??

You'll have to ask LG tech support to see if it supports 15V 3A PD in its PD profile.

Re: Electromagnetic interferences on Alpha/Arduino?

Example of adding a 330uF 12V electrolytic capacitor (do follow the polarity, keep leads reasonably short.)

Re: Electromagnetic interferences on Alpha/Arduino?

Not sure it's EMI related or it's just insufficient decoupling.

I'd recommend place a low ESR 470uF 12V tantalum capacitor as well as
a low ESR 0.1uF 25V ceramic capacitor in between the
Arduino 5V and Gnd edge connector.
(Making sure the leads are as short as possible.)

Re: A question about usage of the USB type c on delta 432

You can also use a Blitzwolf BW-TH5 as a combo:
USB-C power pass-through (supplying power to LP Delta) <-- at least 15V 3A mode,
as well as
3-port USB-3.0 hub, HDMI output, and SD card reader.

Re: A question about usage of the USB type c on delta 432

I've tested:
1. supplying 15V 3A power directly from USB-C PD mode
2. LP Delta when powered by 4-pin DC_in, I can activate LP Delta's USB-C as PD source mode, supplying 5V as output

What else you need me to test it for you?
