What kind of connectors do I need for the 12V and SW sockets? I want to make sure that I order the right ones, is it JST PH?

Yes there could be (the connection might be thinner now and thus might not be able to carry as much current), but it's not like that knowledge changes anything.

I just tried it in 10.14.1, works fine. I have to wake it up via the SW button on the board though, the USB keyboard is powered off completely.
