It will output 5V , which can be used to light a LED.
But I usually limite it under 50 mA

Red LED on LattePanda is the indicator LED for CPU. Seems the CPU boot up. Which display you are conncect with? Do you have another can test with? And you can email techsupport@lattepanda.com for the further help.

Hi, again. Thank you very much for the insight! Removing the on board battery for 10min while it is powered down and reinserting the battery then powering the board on seems to corrected to issue, I have successfully booted the pre-installed windows 10 image. Which kind of the board you are using with?Lattepanda 2/32 or 4/64? I guess the problem is cause by the power supply and power cable. Which is better to output 5V@2.5A

If you have a LattePanda V1 , please check the power supply and USB power cable. Better can output 2.5A . Sometime, the limit is the usb cable which is too thin

Thanks! The weird part is, I am not seeing anything when it boots until I see the Windows 10 welcome screen. This is the problem. So far I have used nothing but an AC adapter to power the LP. Thanks for pointing out I need to use a 5V rail for that. I have one, no problem. How is this problem.Solve...
