Mac, did you open the connector on the LP, slide the ribbon in and then close the connector? It should hold the ribbon tightly ...
I did, yes. It was very tight and stable.

Re: LattePanda Alpha 864 - Bios - Auto-Power-On?

After some more testing I think I found a bug (?) in the Alpha that could prevent all functionality in case of power loss. As this thread is about Auto-Power-On I decided to write this in here even when the topic is loosely connected to my post about the remote controlling of the Alpha. The system o...

Re: LattePanda Alpha 864 - Bios - Auto-Power-On?

@derecho You are correct about the overkill, but then again I do use RapsberryPi to get remote access via SSH tunneling and for security camera as the Alpha is going to be installed to my remote location together with my all HAM and DX equipments. Having access to the 'physical power switch' was an ...

Re: LattePanda Alpha 864 - Bios - Auto-Power-On?

My solution for now is to have a RaspberryPi together with Alpha in my project. RasPi has a micro-relay connected to some GPIO pins and with a simple script I can then give commands to RasPi that mimics some one "pressing" the SW switch. The RasPi has a small battery powered 'UPS' so it will stay on...

Re: 15.6" eDP Samsung Display for LattePanda Alpha!?

I believe this panel is a similar and should/could work directly with Alpha: http://www.panelook.com/LTN125HL02-301_Samsung_12.5_LCM_overview_26609.html It has same specs what comes to the interface than the 15,6" mentioned in the original post. I'm planning to get one, it is around 50+€, but if the...

Alpha 864 Win10 driver compatibility

Hi,

I spend some hours to try to find out the Windows 10 driver compatibility for the new Lattepanda Alpha 864.

There are LattePanda-Win10-Software/Drivers/4G64GB_Drivers/ available in the Github, are these valid drivers for the 864 too?

Re: LattePanda Alpha 864 - Bios - Auto-Power-On?

This was something I asked over year ago while Alpha was still on the design table and Kickstarter was going crazy about the Alpha. Back then it was said that "This is a default option to have, will be available in the final product". I'm still waiting my board to arrive and while doing that I'm rea...
