Re: Custom Console Development (with Linux)

It certainly took a while, but here's a video of us bumbling around and making the "Six-66" Console.

Re: Custom Console Development (with Linux)

Re: Custom Console Development (with Linux)

Im not 100% sure what you mean by that. It does use a cartridge for the game (just for looks at the moment, but the final version will run the game through a custom cartridge).

External LED Light tied to CPU/OS

Hi, I've been tinkering around with the LattePanda Alpha and I'm wondering if there is a way to get an external LED working over GPIO that activates when either the OS is loaded, or when power is running to the CPU. I've got the LED working using a blink scheme in Arduino, but the problem is that th...

Power Button Function

You also need to hold it down for a hard shutdown. We want to change it so that if you press the button without having to hold i...

Re: Custom Console Development (with Linux)

Yeah, we had an opportunity to try out about 50 different tactile switches and this one was our favourite. There were many that would get stuck, not click properly, or depress too far. This one has a nice crisp feel to it. Here's the info about the switch: https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/c-...

Re: Custom Console Development (with Linux)

Update #3 - Power We decided to remove the reset button for now due to concerns with data corruption. For the first prototype of the console, we will just be using a power on/off button. We'll soon be mounting the button to a board and building the key that depresses it. schadencube power button.jpg...

Re: LattePanda Alpha 864 - Power/Reset

Hey guys, Just following up on this. I'm rather new to this and could use the help. I've attached a flowchart that describes the functions of what we want. We've got the power running correctly. Although, we're wondering if there is a way to change the function of the button. Currently, you need to ...
