for me it just works fine. I didn't get a message it was connected, but it shows up in the windows explorer screen.

I had a similar thing turned out that i had the change a setting in the monitor. It was something like overscan, but I'm sure every brand has its own name and setting for this

Did you buy one with Windows 10 pre installed. As I understand now some boards get shipped without Windows 10.

I was wondering almost the same thing, but in reverse. How to shut off the lan port after switching off the LP, because it keeps on blinking and if wake on loan is not on it is a bit useless.
