Re: [DISCUSSION] Fan not turning off when LP, 4K vid.on 7" L

Depends a bit on how you connected your fan. If you connected your fan to the cn2 header you could use a transistor connected to the 1.8v pin in the U1 area of the LP. Then the transistor acts as a on of switch for the fan. Switching on when the atom CPU is on and off when the Atom CPU is off. I don...

[DISCUSSION] How to signal Arduino the Atom Side is on/off

Recently I have been thinking on how to signal to the arduino the atom (Windows) side is on or off. First I thought to send a hartbeat signal through the USB connection to the Arduino. However that will occupy the com port. Another method I tested today is to use the 1.8v (pin10) from the U1 connect...

Re: High Performance Power Plan

Thank s for sharing.

Why do you change the registry value? As long as the temperature is ok and the CPU load is sufficient you should get a high clock frequency

Re: Dimension documentation

On the github page you can download a 3D model. It loads nicely in fusion360.

Unfortunately the important chips are not in the model, but for dimensions it is very useful

For the screen and the heatsink module I do not know if there is any dimensional information

Re: [DISCUSSION] Fans/Heatsinks/CPU Cooling Mods

Yesterday I tested my passive cooling solution. After running Prim95 for one hour temp was about 70C with CPU speed at 1600MHz I removed the metal shield from the CPU and PMIC. the CPU is cooled with a copper plate with heat pipe. The PMIC is cooled with an aluminium heatsink. I had to modify the he...

Re: USB2 Bandwidth Problems?

I'm sorry I'm not really into USB. However in this thread viewtopic.php?f=10&t=379 they also have some problems on the USB bus. I don't have my lp at hand to test loading the USB bus with data.

Re: Latte Panda DOA Board [DEFECTIVE]

For windows the red light is important. The blue light is connected to the Arduino.

When the red light is off press power until the red light comes back on. Otherwise hope the lp team comes back to you for a RMA

Re: USB2 Bandwidth Problems?

Do you get the same results if you use only one tuner?
What happens if you put one in USB2 and the other in USB3?

Just to see if it would is a limitation on the usb2 bus.
