Re: 7" LCD pinout or connector type.

Well i still haven't found a pinout. Kind of surprise LattePanda (the forum person) hasn't dropped off any info. It's really holding back some of my projects.

Re: 7" LCD pinout or connector type.

Thank you, but that's not what i needed. I needed the datasheet/pinout for the LCD and/or connector. i have another LCD that i'd like to try on it, it's 7" but it's 1280x800, so a bit higher res than the panda's 1024x600 screen. It's also 30pin, but before i do anything, i'd like the pinout. If the ...

Re: Noob Question about Servo controls

Well your issue was with using the sensor GPIOs for servos. I can confirm that D9(#1) on the sensor headers does link up to D9 (P5) on the arduino headers. So you shouldn't have any problems using them. I'd still suggest using an external 5v source though. That neck servo may need to be a bit strong...

Re: Noob Question about Servo controls

Most servos are also 3 pin, ground-5v-signal. And you could likely find an arduino library very easily, i'm confident they're included with the IDE. Just find the signal wire, GPIOs need to be set to output in the IDE. So i see no reason why you wouldn't be able to use them. That said... You don't w...

7" LCD pinout or connector type.

Where can i find the datasheet, model number, and/or pinout of the 7" 1024x600 LCD? I have an extra 7" 1280x800 IPS that also uses a 30pin ribbon, and was hoping to use that. But not sure if they're compatible without manually making an adapter. Though making an adapter isn't a deal breaker. i have ...

Re: Prepurchase Emulation Questions

I use a 4GB/64GB model. It'll do youtube and netflix fine, as long as it's not 4k. I'll also do Dreamcast and lower, but it'll struggle a little bit. I had nullDC running at an acceptable level (only tested shenmue, and it's 10 minute cutscene) It'll do dolphin with DX12, for some gamecube games (at...

Re: USB3 speeds SSD --> SSD.

My PC has 4 usb ports, 2 of which pull 5v directly from the power supply. That's where i get my 5v from. So it was pulling the power from my PC's power supply. An external HDD probably won't have enough power from the panda, you'd need an externally powered enclosure. That said, SSDs usually use muc...

Re: Why doesn't the LP include an RTC connector?

you could do that but i wouldn't, just secure the wires to the board with something, i'd suggest solid core 30awg wire, like kynar/mod wire, it's just very easy to solder. The reason i wouldn't, is if something pulls on it, you could end up lifting traces. which is bad mkay. Also just check your mes...
