Re: my delta can't boot, stop at logo and shows 98

"Remove RTC battery" trick Pop-out the RTC battery using a small screw driver (be careful, do not scratch the motherboard). Battery is a tiny 3V lithium battery CR927. Now power up the LP Delta by press-n-hold the POWER button for few seconds. It will take about 2 or 3 minutes to boot up, if the iss...

Re: Latte Panda Alpha Not Powering Up Blue LED blinks

First, let's verify if the POWER button is working as the first step... Let's say the BLUE LED will blnk every 5 second. 0....5....10....15....20... are the moments when LED is lit. Let's push-and-hold the POWER button at second 7. Do you see the BLUE light coming ON at second 7 instead? Or it is st...

Please create a botable Unbuntu USB stick

and boot the LP Alpha up, slecting "try" option (no need to install).

This is the first step to diagnose several possible issues.

Re: Lattepanda Alpha 864 not powering trough USB-C but powering with 12V DC

Unless you have the proper test equipment (such as WEB-U2 tester), it is very hard to know what's going on. Try to test it on another LP Alpha maybe? Other option is to get a "better" USB-C power adapter (15V 3A capable) and a better USB-C cable. This issue has been discussed a few times. re: NVMe h...

Re: LattePanda ALPHA DC Power insights

@ ZENY
If drops down to 10V, it is definitely not a stable environment.
Please check the no-load voltage output.

BYW, here is my IP2721 based fixed voltage module (set at 15V).
No load output voltage (power supply is the stock LattePanda's) is 15V.

Re: Lattepanda Alpha 864 not powering trough USB-C but powering with 12V DC

Quote: I have read some people saying that once i power it with the 12V DC i might regain USB-C powering since it can be in some kind of limbo state and might get unstuck, is this really a thing?, like will it renegotiate with the power adapter again? Answer: Yes, it does not hurt to try this fix. I...

Re: USB operative system

Good night, I want to have an operating system in a USB and load from there to lattepanda without having to erase the operating system that I have put in the internal memory but it does not load. Is the BIOS update fixed? Or how can I make it? All the best << Assuming that USB flash drive is proper...

Re: Alpha connected to 7" eDP Touch Display

Offical eDP panel sold by LattePanda is this one: https://www.lattepanda.com/products/5.html which has the native resolution of 1024x600. Yours may be from another source and have a different resolution. Monitor communicates its spec thru EDID (and in eDP, using I2C interface for that information, i...
