None of them got detected and from HWINFO64, the PCIe bus (Bus A #0) does not show anything there.

The next step is to try BIOS setting (has to be very careful, can easily brick the Delta board.) Probably will take a while to figure it out (if there is a solution....)
The Delta is more sensitive to the pcie adapter you use. I tried several low quality ones that work with my alpha, but do not get recognized by the delta. In the end, a ADT Link nvme m key to x16 slot adapter worked beautifully. Here is my video on it: https://youtu.be/LMmm2V33cvs

I tested three PCIe adapters in Delta.
    But nothing works.
Is the PCIe adapter don't working in Delta's M.2 M-key Slot?

    I want someone's advice.
    Thank you for reading.

    Hey Intelis

I’m responding to you here too so the knowledge is shared more. My Delta would not work with any of my previous adapters. The low quality adapters cause some mismatched impedance balance and will not work. You need to use a high quality adapter like ADT Link. This is the recommended adapter by the guy who runs www.eGPU.io

Another stress test kept the temperature around 69-72C with power being the limiting factor at 7 TDP.

SpareADime wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 2:19 am Hello Everyone,

I just got my LPA 864 back from an RMA. (You can see my other post.) I am working on trying to reduce the heat output by undervolting the CPU. I am just wondering if any other LPA owners are trying the same.

I have been using the Intel Extreme Tuning Utility Win10 and GeorgeWhewell's Undervolt CPU in Ubuntu 18.04 to do some simple changes. I was able to reduce the core voltage offset by -0.06V and maintain stability in both OS's.

In Win10, I have used the Intel ETU's for benchmarking. Using the default setting (no voltage changes), the bench mark resulted in a max temperature of 80C with a score of 424. Lowering the core voltage offset by -0.06V resulted in a benchmark score of 422 and a max temperature of 73C. (Not a bad start)

Has anyone else tried undervolting their LPA? I was just wondering before I start looking at the other voltages and timing settings.

(I did search if there was another postings on the subject. I did not find any. If there is, I will just redirect to that thread.)

    Good Luck,
    SpareADime
    Hi SpareADime

I replaced the thermal paste on mine with Noctua NT-H2 (non-conductive) and it got me as much as 5 C cooler depending on the test. Definitely worth a look.

    Hi Cairoli

I use a button like this on either the SW ON pins or the 2 pin JST PH connector for SW ON:

Orientation doesn't matter as long as each line is isolated.

  • You Reply: You can simplify the power supply by buying a 120W 12V power supply like one on amazon. You can split the power between the LPA and the GPU, no need for a Pico PSU or some small PSU. I just did that for mine and it works beautifully

Just a small sugestion: extend the 10K thermistor connection wires long enough, such that thermistor touches the outer protection jacket of the 18650 battery itself.
Thanks for taking a look! I understand the importance of the thermistor and I highlight that in my video. This prototype I stole the thermistor from a broken battery pack and I don’t have it installed correctly because I have new ones coming from China (few weeks shipping). I do not charge it unless I am monitoring voltage with DMM and temperature with infrared thermometer.

When I get my new thermistors I will make a 2s2p configuration and post some photos of it.

Please help me find a adapter/or how to setup that fit with this requirement.

However, I do have 2 questions, since I'm both fairly new to both Alpha and Hackintosh:
    • I can't seem to get HDMI Audio output to work. Any suggestions?
    • The recommended M.2 WiFi card is too short to fit the board (it can't be attached with a screw). Can anyone recommend an extension or adapter to solve this purely mechanical problem?
Once these are solved, the LattePanda Alpha will be a tough competitor to Mac Mini...
You could try this part I designed for another e key device for the lattepanda Alpha
