Obtaining the right graphics driver

I have just completed a clean Win 10 install on a LP 4gb. Installed the drivers from LP github - I have working Wifi and BT.
Whatever I try, I can't get higher display resolution than 1024x600. Surely this isn't the highest resolution I can achieve? Is the LP provided driver on github supposed to provide higher resolution than this? I'm connected via hdmi to a Dell 4k monitor, so I know it's not the display's fault...
