I'm trying to use my new 4GB64GB LattePanda as a small Windows file share server and perhaps VPN but the connection keeps dropping sporadically while connected via the ethernet port. It works fine over Wifi but I'm not getting the speeds I'd like. I've tried multiple ethernet cables and using different ports on my router but the issue persists. I've not had any issues with any of the other devices I have connected to LAN. I tried looking for the ethernet driver on the github in hopes that a reinstall would fix it but wasn't able to find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Dear Jeerachee, I'm notified from operation team that we have this problem happening on a small part of boards from last batch. The key problem is caused by Mac address configuration. Please check this link to fix. ... in-windows

I had the same problem with my brand new LattePanda 4GB/64GB.
It took me quite some time to figure this one out, so i hope it will help some of you out there.
    This is what i did:
    1) the original MAC address of the network chip was not correct => i changed it to a MAC address of Realtek (starting with 00:48:54:...). I did this via Network > Change Adapter Settings > TCP/IP v4 > Properties.
    2) then i updated the driver of the Realtek USB FE Family Controller #3 to the latest one i could find on The original one on the my LattePanda was version 10.5 dated 19/09/2015. The one i have installed now is version 10.28 dated 02/10/2018! Might be a good idea to include this driver in the LattePanda software golden image :-)
    3) But what really solved the issue, was setting that the board may never go to sleep in the Power Options - it was put on 10 minutes. (see printscreen in attachment)
Since then it's running like a charm! Great job LattePanda team!
