Touch panel input appears to be rotated

I've just bought a replacement new (genuine) 7" IPS screen and touch panel. I've attached it to my board but the touch input is in the wrong place. As I move my finger left-right, the cursor moves up/down! Is there something simple I'm missing?

The previous screen/touch panel was working fine until I broke the screen. I've made no changes - just switched off, disconnected power, disconnected screen/touch and connected new screen/touch.

All screens/touch panels were purchased from RS components in the UK.
