Driver Issue - Not possible to use DSLR - WIN 10

i spent some time getting the lattepande with windows 10 to recognize my canon DSLR Camera, but there is always a no "driver found" message - canon does not provide driver as the cameras are supposed to be recognized by the operating system....
anybody successfully used a dslr on the panda?
