[DEFECTIVE] Does not post or display any on screen messages

What I have tried.

• USB to Nilklkin suggested wall adapter. Tried with 3 separate cables

• USB to Monitor

• USB to Computer

Each time it initializes and the red light goes out. Pressing the power the blue light pulses then abruptly goes out about 5 seconds later.

I know the monitor can see the device because when I unplug the hdmi cable the monitor shows the no connection message. When I plug the hdmi cable back in it goes to a black screen.

No post message or any on screen indication of the computer doing anything
