I tried to re-install Beta Ubuntu(Ubuntu-img-16.04-for-CherryTrail-20180418) you are publishing.
My LattePanda got to shutdown normally.
After that, I redoed all this steps.

I definitely did the same way as LattePanda Docs, but mouse ghost will not disappear.

Why?
Could you tell me how to solve it?

the SD Card slot isn't detected at all.

Yes and it doesn't even detect the sd card slot at all yet windows can detect it.

Did you use the XC card which means it's a high speed card?
Ubuntu can't detect the high speed card, but the HC card is OK. That's a commun issue for Ubuntu I think :?

I am interrested in the LattePanda 4GB/64GB. I would use it with Ubuntu. But I can't figure out exactly what is the status with Ubuntu. May be you could help me.

The official online documentation concerns only "Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (For S70CR200 2G/32G version)". In addition, it states "And we are still working on the image for S70CR200 4G/64G version, and it will be released in 2 weeks.". I don't know when was the last update of this documentation, when these 2 weeks lead us ?

A forum official thread is about Ubuntu support for both models 2GB and 4GB, but it is concerning a beta version:

A blog post about "Releasing Official Linux Ubuntu Support on LattePanda" (not beta I guess), but it points to official documentation which concerns only 2GB/32GB version (may be it applies to 4GB/64GB as well ?)

I am a little bit lost :) What is the last official status for Ubuntu support on 4GB/64GB LP ? Did someone try to install latest Ubuntu LTS version (18.04) ?

@Lattepanda I found out the kernel you have has a bug in the sd card driver. I was able to custom build kernel 4.17.6 from the kernel.org site and use your config file in the ubuntu image with a few minor changes it was asking for and it worked. Even all of the other hardware works.

The image and bios released works with 4G model. Just a known issue we are working on. But as I know, you can still install and use it for 24/7 working without any problem. ;)
