[DEFECTIVE] Streaming Cable not working

However, Windows 10 has started to tell me when connecting the cable to the lattepanda:
"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
A request for the USB device descriptor failed."
Does anyone know a solution for that problem? Would it be possible to replace the cable?
