Slow processing speed and keeps failing important windows update.

Recieved my new LattePanda Alpha replacement for the one I sent back in quite a bit ago and didn't have time right away to tinker around with it. But the last two weeks I've been trying to figure out how to fix this issue I have because I really don't want to send this one all the way back again and wait for another one in return. I really hope there is a fix for this.
So upon startup the unit runs pretty slow and on top of that windows needed to do updates so it took quite a while. Updates finished all but one, seems like the big important one. After two weeks of running troubleshooting an having windows try to resolve the update issue it never fixes it and everytime the update fails, 24 times so far. I'm wondering if this is something you crossed with units you have tested, (failing updates, real slow processing, etc.) And have been able to fix. I have a video so you can see the slow response time and see which update I am referring to. Thanks for any help!
