7 Inch Touch Display (eDP) Cable and Connector Problem

However, I have a major problem with the board and the official 7 inch Touch Display (eDP) for LattePanda Alpha & Delta. There are two cables that go from the display to the board. The larger black one connects just fine.
The smaller cable that's for touch will no longer stay in the touch panel connector on the motherboard. No matter what I do, the cable just comes out really easily. It's like the latch does't even grab the cable anymore.
Question 1: Is there some trick to getting this touch cable to stay in the touch panel connector?
Question 2: Do other people have the same issue?
