NVME not recognised in bios LattePanda Delta 432

I just got my LP Delta 432 back from DFRobot after it wouldn't power on. Same issue that's been reported here many times - slow blinking blue LED. Engineer reported the board powered up and booted Win10 from the emmc straight away when they tested it. It's booting for me now into Win10.

I had been using a Samsung 970 EVO 500GB NVME SSD to install and boot Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.0 and use the LP as a media player. Now when I install the NVME it is not recognised in the bios. I have checked the NVME and it is working in my desktop PC. I reformatted it but it still is not recognised by my LP bios or by Win10 (disk management console or diskpart). Booting Linux from a USB drive also doesn't see the NVME.

Any advice to resolve the ongoing problems with this board?
