Good evening,

I have a LattePanda Delta model S70GR110 (from Kickstart campaign), and I am trying to flash the BIOS available from Github but without success.

I downloaded the BIOS files from:
https://github.com/LattePandaTeam/Latte ... -101-B.zip
and I am following the instructions from:
https://github.com/LattePandaTeam/Latte ... /README.md

I have so:
- formatted an USB 2.0 drive to FAT32 with WINPE label
- copied the BIOS files downloaded from Github to the USB drive
- connected to USB drive to the LP
- booted the LP to the BIOS settings and then to the EFI shell
- entered the USB drive with fs1: and checked with dir
- run the command

Code: Select all

AfuEfix64.efi BS-S70GR110-GA54A-101B.bin /p /b /n => I get the error:

Code: Select all

Unknown command or option : /b 1 - Error: Unknown command. - I try then removing the /b option and also removing all /p /b /n, i.e.:

Code: Select all

AfuEfix64.efi BS-S70GR110-GA54A-101B.bin => I get the error:

Code: Select all

Reading flash ............... done Secure Flash enabled, recalculate ROM size with signature... Enable. - FFS checksums ......... ok 4 - Error: ROM file ROMID is not compatible with existing BIOS ROMID. The execution aborts and I have no mean to flash the BIOS.

Note that instructions for flashing BIOS on the LP are different in:
- https://github.com/LattePandaTeam/Latte ... /README.md
- https://www.lattepanda.com/forum/topic/314325 (no step with AfuEfix64.efi)
- https://www.lattepanda.com/forum/topic/314266 (use of Fpt)

Can you please provide the instructions to flash correctly the BIOS to the LP Delta?

Also, in the BIOS settings of my LP Delta I have no way to set the temperature range for the fan control. BIOS settings are different than in https://www.lattepanda.com/forum/topic/314564 and no options for temperature range for the fan.
The control of the fan on the LP Delta is very annoying as it is constantly starting and stopping (several times per minute).
Can you confirm that by flashing the BIOS in Github, this temperature control as described in your forum message will be available in the BIOS settings?

Thank you,

Regards,

Alex
