Those individual 1s cell with integrated BMS can be useful, so long as
(1) if all those cells are equally fresh and
(2) have been well designed thus can maintain the same charge/discharge behavior over their life time
Ideal case will work that way.

The "balancer" part of circuit (the above 1s unit does not have) is used to ensure during charging, one cell will not be over-charged while the other one insufficiently charged. The goal is to get both charged to be equilibrium (no matter if one "much more degraded" cell can't take the charge as the other "better" one can.)

When using the DC 4 pin slot how do you have it set up for a stable system?

Is there an advantage using 4 pins, 2+ and 2- to supply power vs using 2 of the pins, 1+ and 1-?

When using the 4 pins is the power divided coming in on the 2+ connections? (6v on each pin) or is it for redundancy?

Need to use all 4 pins. They are in + + - - arrangement.
Reason: LP Alpha needs to have sufficient power provided to be operational reliably.
The PH2.0 connector used is rated (if I recall it right) for 1.25A (or 1.5A sorry I really don't want to go back to my document collection) per pin. Using 2 pins together can provided (up to) 3A power feed.

ccs_hello,

What DIY setup do you use to Power your LPA using the DC power pins? I really need to free up my USB-C for my display, and I have not found any USB-C hub that can properly handle power pass through on one USB-C port and display data through another USB-C. One I did find that said would work (I even messaged the company's tech department, who said it would work with no problem) actually didn't for some reason, so I had to send it back.

What do you use for your DC power supply?
