Blynk help

I'm having a little trouble I followed through this experiment https://www.instructables.com/id/LatteP ... IoT-Fun-1/to the letter and originally it worked but the next time i fired up my latte panda it stopped working I can do the first bit:
cd C:\Program Files\Arduino\libraries\Blynk\scripts
But when i type in:
blynk-ser.bat -c COM5
and press enter twice it doesn't work i just get back to:
C:\Program Files\Arduino\libraries\Blynk\scripts>
and blynk won't connect I've checked that I'm using the right board and com port in arduino it just wont play ball.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
