Drive LVDS lcd off Alpha eDP port?

This is more of a generic LCD interface question but I haven’t found any helpful posts online.
Is it possible to drive an LVDS lcd panel off of the Alpha eDP interface?
I’m working on a laptop conversion, and I found a great LVDS panel that fits in to the case. It came with an inverter and HDMI controller board but these take up too much internal space, so I’m trying to figure out if there is a way to drop the hdmi board and go straight from the panda to the panel.
