I have a lattepanda delta 432 and Official PD adapter that comes with the LattePanda Delta.
I want to use WS2812 LED strip.. about 30LEDs?
Can I use WS2812 without external power supply? I will use Arduino
how to use WS2812 LED strip
Each RGB LED draws approximately 50 mA when it is set to full brightness and powered at 5 V.
A 30-LED strip can draw up to 5V 1.5A.
If you must use OEM USB-C PD based power supply, there is no easy way to get 5V 1.5A out other than
combining several USB port's DC output (using 0.5A per port formula.)
<-- anyway, the OEM USB-C PD supply is designed to power LP Alpha/Delta itself, not intended to be a over-engineered general-purpose power supply
Use external power supply would be optimal, especially if yo plan to load more external devices/lights to LP Alpha/Delta.
