Crash as in freeze or crash as in power off?
Can you describe your power set up?

Screen goes black and I have to reboot. Will work fine indefinitely if I don't try to access the control panel.

I have tried a 5v 2.5a wall charger, with numerous cables and even tried a 5v 4amp open frame power supply

Did you try to reinstall the system already?
In general, it's caused by lack of power. Need to check your cable and power supply according to the official docs also.

When I start FC with the commandline /L=MyLayout focus is on the right panel
I want FC to start with focus on the left panel but I dont know how.
Saved the layout with focus on left panel but that did not help.

Thanks in advance for your help

Have a nice day
