Good Afternoon,

I have a question related to the SW pin. Is it the one useful for turning the LP ON?

How can I connect a Button to SW Pin and GND? I just want to avoid to damage :D .

Thank you very much in advance.

Regards,

Giovanni

Anyone knows also about the RST Pin close to the SW pin? Which is its functionality?

Thank you,
Giovanni

Assuming you are talking about the "POWER" pins and "RESET" pins on the x86 side...
these buttons behave exactly like a normal PC's POWER and RESET buttons.

Hello,

Thank you for your answer.

Yes I refer to the Power Switch PIN and the Reset PIN, Could you suggest me how to connect them properly? I want to add a push button on my PCB.

Thank you very much,

Giovanni

I think to connect a push button, on the left side the SW PIN and Right side the GND.Is it right?

Hi Cairoli

I use a button like this on either the SW ON pins or the 2 pin JST PH connector for SW ON:

Orientation doesn't matter as long as each line is isolated.
