Hello!

I'm new to arduino, made some tests with different sensors everything is working. But I have a question:
Let's say I plu a USB camera to the LP, windows will receive the images, I guess I could make a server that retrieve the images, but how would I do if I want to send these pictures to arduino?

Maybe my question is stupid, but thx for your help :)

I was also interested in such topic (exchange of data inbetween the OS and Arduino)
this is why i absolutely wanted to write on the SD card and access the SD card after from a sketch but
it appears that it's not possible..
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=63
the solution offered by readers seems like : adding a SD card module to the arduino itself and via SERIAL
make a copy of data from the LattePanda SD to the Arduino's SD ^^
But i don't have knowledge to explain this for now ^^

and what would the Arduino do with this image ? this is i guess important.

you need to know that handling images (especially from a webcam, i hope you want to make
occasional snapshots and not send a full video sequence ^^)

maybe you can start reading this also :

I Don't have my LP yet, but is it not possible to do it the other way around? Write an app or program for windows which communicates through the USB interface with the arduino side.

Have the windows side store stuff on the SD and or use your recorded webcam video or images.

Again I don't have my lp yet and didn't investigate the possibilities.

Maybe the docs is section can help you

Yes you're right, I forgot half of the question, how can I connect to the internet fro, the arduino ^^

You're right, using visual studio, you get what you need from the arduino, plus you have access to the system. I just need to refresh my memory about C# ^^
